    <description>Old Style Antique No. 6 in use. A caps-only face cast by Miller &amp; Richard in 1869 as Old Style Antique No. 6 and soon after as Old Style Antique No. 2 by MacKellar, Smiths &amp; Jordan [and later also by Marder, Luse &amp; Co. and Hawks and Shattuck]. Copied by Pavyers &amp; Bullens as Old Face Antique Caps. Générale had this design as Lettres Incrustées, with a straight tail to ‘R’; later shown by Deberny &amp; Peignot as Latines 2me Série with lowercase. [Ovink in Quaerendo vol. 2 no. 2]. Sold by ATF as Old Style Antique No. 42 (used for sample), then updated around 1899 as Old Style Antique No. 112 with a more conventional ‘R’ leg.</description>
