Our task was to design a visual identity for the text editor and proofreader Monika Buraczyńska, who is working under the name of Dots and Lines [Kropki – Kreski]. In designing stationery to accompany Monika’s professional activity, our main motivation was to create materials which are inexpensive to make and can be printed by Monika herself while preserving a high level of quality.

We’ve solved this by departing from the idea of building a logo in favour of creating a formal language consisting of simple geometric shapes. We’ve decided to start with a symbolic text column and embellish it with the required information. As a result, we have achieved visual identity with a strong and unified character on all of the materials.

Our work included the design of the visual identity — marketing collateral (corporate stationery, invoice template, business card) and a website.
