Giada Coppi:

ManyVal (short for Many Valued Logic) is an annual conference organized by the Department of Information and Communication Technology of The University of Milan.

Giada Coppi, then a partner of LS Graphic Design in Milan, Italy, used elements of the modular Tribasei to build letterforms that grow tendrils, branching out into a pattern that frames the lettering. Tribasei is Luciano Perondi’s digital translation of Nebiolo’s Fregio Mecano, a set of 20 geometric shapes originally made around the mid-1930s.
