The Calibri will be replaced soon: I wrote a comment and sent it to Achim Schaffrina, who provided it under his own link: Good bye Calibri!

  2. This post is about the Unimev identity and website from 2013. Their website still uses Hermes FB and Calibri. Unimev probably won’t replace Calibri anytime soon.

The German article and the comment Kurt linked to are about Microsoft’s next default font. In April 2021, Microsoft announced they commissioned five new typefaces – Tenorite, Bierstadt, Skeena, Seaford, and Grandview – to be bundled with the operating system. All five “will be available in the font menu, alongside Calibri and your other favorite fonts in your Office apps in Microsoft 365 and beyond”.

    – You’re right: I overread that. I thought the winner would replace the font named “Calibri” and not that all would be available to choose from. Sry!

  4. No need to be sorry, Kurt! My understanding is that both things are correct: all these font families will be added to Microsoft’s library of system fonts, and one of them will be selected as the default one for Office, replacing Calibri.
