Switching to a format of three speakers in a row meant that doing the same posters we had been doing in the past wasn’t going to work and we also wanted a change. Instead of trying to get three different designers to design something on schedule, we asked them to provide a quote and we designed a set of postcards still using silkscreen and using the same sheet size we had been using as the parent sheet to fit 4 sets of postcards each. We perforated each set so that each person can choose whether they want to tear them apart or fold into a tight triangle that sits pretty on a desk.

For this first round, we tried to echo the design of the AIforGA [Austin Initiative for Graphic Awesomeness] website by using a bright blue stock and taking advantage of silkscreen to print opaque white and have a starry night background. The quotes are typeset in Tenez Thin at a very large type size and it looks super crisp on the paper. We have a few sets left (shipped folded) for an easy $5 (including shipping). — Armin Vit
