Once upon a time Ockstadt’s finest distillery — Weidmann & Groh — made plans to extend their product range with something exceptional for the region — the first Wetterau Whisky.
3 years ago the process started out of homegrown grain from the Wetterau region. 36 months later, after malting, fermenting, distilling and maturing Weidmann & Groh’s Wetterau Whisky was born.
