Little Red Corvette” is one of Prince’s most timeless hits. The single was released in Germany with the above single sleeve in 1983 along with the B-side “All The Critics Love U In New York”.

Prince’s name looks to be set in Extrabold Russell Square by John Russell, originally released by VGC in 1973. A-side title is set in all-caps Futura.

A page of Russell Square in this site doesn’t show a detail, but Russell Square isn’t only a single weight font.

It spans 5 weights and some of them have italics (extralight, light, regular). However, they don’t seem to have been digitized yet.

That’s a very welcome addition, thanks!

Thanks getsuren! Everything I could find on Russell Square reported it to be single weight. I faintly remember seeing it in bold years ago but couldn’t find a source.
