Every two years, members of the religious industry and representatives of the clergy meet in Italy for the World Church Fair. According to the BBC, the Italian market for religious goods is estimated at a value of $5.2 billion a year.
Besides Faith is a photographic series focusing on the grey area between sacred and profane, through unusual juxtapositions and flashy insights into this one-of-a-kind trade show.
The book is entirely printed on golden paper and Singer sewn in one signature.
