This cover features Bauhaus Geometric and Bauhaus Geometric Shade, fonts first shown in Photo-Lettering’s Art Deco “Decotypes” catalog of 1970 (pg. 1367). Designed by Ed Benguiat, Bauhaus Geometric (and its counterpart Bauhaus Alpha) were precursors to his ITC Bauhaus, which has had a much longer lifespan because it made the jump to digital.
