  1. I wonder if the designer tried the type with the tittle over initial 'j’ – he’d removed them from the 'i’s for obvious reasons…just a thought!

  2. Really simple and beautiful design. Kabel black may have the best lowercase “g” character of any sans-serif typeface. I can’t find anything else about Bob Lockhart’s design history online… does anyone know anything about him, or what else he has done?

    Incidentally, Joe Walsh was in James Gang before leaving and eventually joined the Eagles… a group with huge commercial success but no album covers as cool as this one, in my opinion.
