This is modified Rotis, not Times New R…
It may look like Rotis SemiSerif, because of the semi serifs, but look closer and you’ll see the curves and details match Times New Roman.
IIRC, Times was a major reference for Aicher when designing Rotis. In any case, the modifications made for the ‘BrightEN’ logo go beyond clipping a few serifs here and there. From top to bottom: logo, Times New Roman, Rotis Serif.
