In this booklet, Henri Friedlaender (1904–1996) describes the making of the Hebrew typeface Hadassah – a process that took Friedlaender almost three decades.

On the cover, set in the Hadassah woodtype, a line from the bible that reads “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it” (Habakkuk 2:2).
