Literaturland is a place for existing and emerging literature from the Swiss region of Appenzell. The Appenzeller Anthologie is both a book and web project, collecting texts from well-known and unknown authors, providing an overview over the local literary work since 1900. A writing competition encourages newcomers to prove that the literary scene in Appenzell continues to grow and thrive.
The website was designed and developed by Fabian Harb and Julia Novitch. The typeface is Harb’s own Pegasus, a revival of the typeface originally designed by Berthold Wolpe.
