Ca n’Estruc BI
BI was born in a corner of the Ca n’Estruc winery. Born from nostalgia for times past; from working with your hands; from listening with your heart and accompanying the vines along their natural path. The original design of the winery’s first label has been recovered and adapted to the new requirements. A wide variety of limited edition wines, specially selected from specific vats, amphora, vintages or vineyards — from 66 bottles —, with the labels numbered using a traditional mechanical system. Design without designing. No masks and no artifices.
The Art Deco caps for the title were recreated with digital lettering by Jordi Embodas (tipografies.com). Univers was replaced by Akzidenz Grotesk for a more oldstyle appearance. The typeface for the red stamping is unidentified.
