Fruth is a “chocolaterie pâtisserie au marché" in Vienna, established in 1996 by Eduard A. Fruth, and well-known for handmade high-quality chocolate and confectionery. At least since 2002, Fruth uses Rialto for the typographic identity. The typeface by Giovanni de Faccio and Lui Karner appears in the logo (in small caps, reversed in a circle) and also serves for other aspects of the brand, e.g. for packaging and on the signs of both stores.

Shop front in Wiedner Hauptstr. 114, 1050 Wien (2011), with italics in mixed case. True to its Renaissance roots, Rialto doesn’t have italic caps.
