DC Design Week 2016 — The AIGA is a professional resource for designers looking to continue education, build new insights, and seek out new creative ideas. They strive to bring together practitioners, enthusiasts, and patrons to amplify the voice of the design community. I have been an active member since 2012 and have grown off the opportunities and inspiration they provide. For the second year in a row, I was asked to help out with the DC Design Week branding. I wanted to create a logo system that lived up to current design standards and could be built into every touchpoint throughout the festival.
Branding by Greg Fisk, in collaboration with Workhorse, AIGA Board, Dan Rader (creative direction), Austin Breed (illustration), Marcus Relacion (web dev), Vicky Choa (motion graphics). Typefaces: BB Roller Mono by Bold Studio, Work Sans by Wei Huang.
