Detail from the 2016 poster

Posters and website for the Kongenfest, a two day open air music festival in Borová Sihot, Slovakia. Woodkit from Typotheque plays an important part in the festival’s visual identity. Woodkit Letterpress includes five different forms for each basic alphanumeric character. For Kongenfest, Ondrej Jób exclusively uses the condensed alternates — a look that can be achieved by activating the OpenType feature Discretionary Ligatures. Since 2011, the festival’s logo features another typeface by Job, Bismuth.

On the website (2016), Woodkit is paired with Ján Filípek’s Komu B for band names.
