We killed a Cheerleader 1.1 is a performance by Marie Cambois (choreographer) and Jean-Philippe Gross (musician), based on decomposition of cheerleading movements (the numbering 1.1 means one dancer and one loudspeaker). The cover design translates that idea, using the iconic pom, reduced to its most minimal aspect : white flat stripes. The piece confronts two radical bias : minimalist dance and noisy feedbacks. Therefore, the typefaces should follow that contrasting combinaison : Helvetica, straight and minimal, and Courier New, rough.
