Severe(d) is a creepy poetry collection that glows in the dark. It was written by Holly Riordan and printed and published in an edition of 1,000 copies in 2017 by Thought Catalog Books. It was illustrated by the lovely Rachel Jablonski. Severe(d) features a delightfully morbid suite of poems about love, loss, addiction and healing. Known for her horror fiction writing, Holly Riordan is twists the bones of conventional love poetry into haunting and bloody crime scenes about heartbreak, grief, anger and (yes) even a bit of healing, albeit with a can of gasoline.
