  1. So Neo Script was at least used once! I wonder if we will ever find an example of Film in use. This award-winning face by Claude Mayet is similar but even lighter than J.C. Demarchi’s Neo Script, and was also released by Mecanorma in 1972. Such delicate faces don’t really lend themselves to being used on record covers, a prime field of application for dry-transfer faces at that time. The limitation to lowercase letters doesn’t help either. Unsurprisingly, it soon disappeared again from Mecanorma’s catalogs. Here is a glyph set of Film from a 1974 specimen:
