Following the assignation of Robert Kennedy, Advertising Age asked its readers to create ads that would help bolster public support for new laws restricting gun ownership in the United States.
In response, the advertising agency Papert Koenig Lois created this ad under the banner of the “New York Advertising Committe For Sane Gun Laws”. The 48th Annual Of Advertising Art lists the Art Director/Designer as Steve Bryan.
The ad features a combination of Stymie Extra Bold and Stymie Light.
