Sleeve for a Italian 7″ record with children’s pop by Paolo E Gli Scoiattoli (“Paul and the Squirrels”), featuring the theme song of Teleradiocity’s Anni Verdi (“Green Years”), a music show hosted by Giusy Lercari and Leprotto Milcaro. The B-side has “Marcia Delle Carote” (“March of the carrots”)
Both typefaces are domestic creations: Forma was developed by a team of eight designers orchestrated by Aldo Novarese, and released by Nebiolo in Turin in 1968. Neo Prisma is a design by Nicola Russo from Padua, issued by Mecanorma in 1972.
(The logo of the California record label uses caps from ITC Avant Garde Gothic, wit two left-leaning alternate A’s.)
