Issue #192 of El Malpensante is a small dossier about contemporary television. In this edition we used Matt Willey’s all-caps-typefaces Timmons NY and BWordfor titles and page navigation, and Hoefler Text for body copy.
Since its foundation in 1996, El Malpensante has become one of the main cultural references of Colombia. Literature, cinema, music, art, architecture, design, politics. For a generation of readers, the wide variety of paradoxical readings contained in its pages have redefined what it means to be “malpensive”: a brand of literary pleasure; a window to access particular and profound views of culture; an innovative publishing firm, a guarantee of quality and credibility.
