In early September 2017, KOSMOS opens its gates between Langstrasse and Europaallee as a new venue for culture and gastronomy. KOSMOS combines a stage, a bookshop, a cinema, a bistro and a stylish bar with a club into a new whole, into a lively, cosmopolitan meeting place. Kosmos offers plenty of space for a variety of events – such as regular readings and panel discussions. We were there from the beginning and were charged with the development of a general appearance and the implementation of all means of communication.
To give a visual foothold to the diversity of KOSMOS, Studio Roth & Maerchy developed a branding that transcends all of the company’s communication tools – from the menu card and animations, to the signage and website. The branding convinces through clarity and simplicity and unites the diverse demands of the house under a brand with a high recognition value. Thus, the rotated “M” in the style of the Greek letter Sigma (Σ) stands for the sum of all things and for the cosmos of all human beings.
