Com Us Vau Conèixer? (How did you meet?) is a special feature for ara.cat newspaper. In both video and text, couples tell about how they got to know each other –– in other words, they share their love stories, to celebrate Saint George’s day. On this day, people celebrate the national patron saint of Catalonia by giving each other books and roses.
The design aims to communicate the joy and love among people on this special day in a playful but not ‘overly sweet’ way. Boogie School Sans is used for headlines, lead paragraphs and navigation. To make reading a pleasant experience, Work Sans is used for the longer texts.
