Exhibition catalog for Expanding Photography, designed by JAC Gestaltung/Judith Anna Rüther.

The exhibition scrutinises perceptual habits in photography in 16 works. A large spectrum of various approaches and forms of behaviour is displayed here and the two-dimensional limits of photography are called into question. Like the artists who explore the limits, the text of the catalogue – set in many weights of Klim Type’s Metric – always is close to the edges, as if wanting to move beyond the limits of the medium. But also within the texts, sections are created in which the typography swells and expands beyond its limits.
