Bantam paperback edition of Donald Barthelme’s City Life, originally published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in 1970. The uncredited cover design features big and slightly stretched letters from Mierop Ginger Snap C (with solid drop shadow) and a couple dancing in … a spotlight? A letter O? Or is it a giant i dot? The secondary type is in a light Bookman variety with “mod” swash letters, probably PLINC Bookman Swash.
