I’ve always felt this was one of Motown’s best album covers. I love everything about it from the use of the deep-blue-sea-colored seamless background, the wonderful overall composition and the typography – an energetic and elegant combination of Egyptienne Bold Condensed with Radiant.
Note that an alternate N was used at the end of “Robinson” – one of a compact set of alternates that came with Radiant, see also this advertisement for Radiant by Ludlow.
