Storm Type’s Academica is a digital interpretation of Academia, a winning contribution made by Josef Týfa for a competition aimed at new typefaces for scientific texts in 1967. The result of a cooperation between Týfa and František Štorm is Academica (with c) — a versatile serif that bears the liveliness of the letterpress era. It contains two text variants: book and regular, the former being the lighter one. Both are used in this publication.
