Author Geoffrey Makstutis is the Subject Lead in Construction for Pearson. He has taught and lectured at Central Saint Martins, the Architectural Association, the Royal College of Art, University of Westminster, IE Segovia, and Universitat Politècnica de València. He is also the author of Architecture: An Introduction (Laurence King, 2010).
The typography combines three typefaces from Emtype Foundry: Ciutadella is used for body text; Geogrotesque Stencil adds a punch to the book cover, chapter openings, headlines and quotes and Geogrotesque is used for page navigation.
