Barry Commoner (1917–2012) was an American biologist, mostly known for his opposition against nuclear weapons testing and his published materials on sustainability and toxic consequences.
The assignment at Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts was to find a well-known researcher whose work focused on land, water or air, and design a poster around the figure’s principal work. This specific poster conveys Barry Commoner’s work with a modern twist and illustrates his importance in the modern world.
