FISK designed the identity for the University of Oregon’s Visiting Artist Lecture Series. In the different layouts, they used simple geometric shapes as frames for photographies and a bright and limited colour palette.
“Each year we design the identity for the University of Oregon MFA and BFA Art programs. This includes an identity system of typography and layout used across lecture posters, exhibition catalogs, publications, and brochures. Our aim is to highlight the amazing students, lecturers, faculty and facilities through design work that is contemporary and relevant. Design that speaks to a global audience and accurately represents the strong community that is the University of Oregon.”
An important space is given to the name of the guest on top of each poster, with a playful type gimmick: the curvy and extended Nostra Stream is used as initial letters, paired with quirky Sages in all-caps.
