The work of the sculptor Constantin Brancusi is that of a solitary creator. Like cubists, Brancusi was looking for a new plastic reality. However, the reference to a natural and cosmic world, which underlies all of his work, distances him from his more intellectual concerns.
This – fictional – book traces the main lines of the life of one of the major sculptors of the twentieth century.
