“This is a set of 3, 11x17 screen print posters for a store grand opening in New York.” – Tyler Anthony
STA’s corporate face is David Farey’s Cachet. It’s a fairly well-kept secret among contemporary sans serifs, a combination of rigid, squarish forms with soft contours (an idea that was pretty novel at the time of its release in 1997). It’s comfortable reading for short to medium passages and distinctive enough for logo work. Sadly, it lacks italics, which could explain its rarity. Farey later released the more complete Zemestro family, but it doesn’t have the same soul.
