This is a catalogue of fonts made as part of a semester project at the Higher Vocational School and Secondary Art School Václav Hollar in Prague, Czechia. The assignment was to draw the 26 letters of the alphabet. First sketched on paper, the ideas were subsequently translated to vectors in the Glyphs font editor, and finally made into an installable font.
Listed are the actual names of the fonts designed by the particpating students. The font used for the texts and the cover was specifically designed for that purpose. It was later extended to more weights and styles and released on 23 April 2019 as Burt.
The student fonts are also presented online at hollarka.xyz and made available under the SIL Open Font License.
