Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz Spielzeit 2019/20

Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz (“German State Philharmonic Orchestra Rhineland-Palatinate”) is the largest and most important orchestra in the state, based in Ludwigshafen. It is considered the symphony orchestra of the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region with a diverse musical spectrum: this ranges from the great symphonic music to music theater productions to film music projects. This year, the Staatsphilharmonie celebrates its 100th anniversary. For the jubilee season 2019/2020, Michael Francis will be the chief conductor .

Streetart artist Sweetuno developed a “100 years” lettering. Among other places, it appears screen printed on the cover of the season booklet. The typography uses various weights of Moderat, paired with all caps Mériva Extra for headlines. The booklet contains a calendar with the complete program.
