Handsome is an album by Kilburn & The High Roads aka Ian Dury and the Kilburns. The album was recorded at Pye Studios and distributed by Pye Records.

On the front cover, the group is shown in an acquarel portrait by Elizabeth Rathmell. Florentine is used for the typography. The back cover features a picture by Poundcake showing the band’s roadie (Paul Tonkin) doing a duckwalk — a photograph that inspired ska band Madness to do a duckwalk shoot with the whole band for the cover of their 1979 album One Step Beyond…. [Edit]: The smaller text on the back cover uses what looks like Century Schoolbook or Century Expanded (See comments).

The small text on the back cover is either Century Schoolbook or—as I think—ATF’s original Century Expanded.

Thanks Jake, you could be right about that! For me the text is just too small to say with certainty what exactly the font is. I’ve added both to the description.

Most of the other text is wide enough that it could be Century Schoolbook, but the song titles definitely look distinctly like Expanded – the paperback edition of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is set primarily in Century Expanded and Futura Display.

I’ll take your word for it Jake! Added Century Expanded.
