  1. Oh wow … Octopuss on its own is already pretty bonkers. But Octopuss in all caps?! One thing’s for sure: Letraset didn’t except anyone to use it exclusively in capitals, that’s why the sheets included a fitted Qu pair … which ended up on the album cover, amidst the caps.

  2. Wow. One of Gill’s titling typefaces for private use was done without a Q, only a QU ligature. (No, no, not a Qu ligature, a QU ligature…Gill’s client had Ideas, apparently.) I suppose at least with transfers you could snip the unneeded letter off if you were careful.
