Enfant Terrible has redesigned the visual identity of CCN2, the National Choreographic Center of Grenoble.
By supporting the projects of resident artists, the CCN2 asserts itself as a structure that welcomes and accompanies: It’s a true hotspot for creation. This positioning is graphically translated to four corners, a matrix that fits into the logo, stretches, adjusts to accommodate, and highlights – semantically or pictorially – the output of a resident artist.
The focus is on the photographic image, which is placed at the heart of the visual identity. Each season, an artist photographer is invited to visualize a chosen theme.
The typography plays with the inset image. The two widths of Mars – Extended and Condensed – bring dynamism. With its raw and expressive design, Averia Serif evokes the universe of the manifesto, and texts printed with limited means. It adds a certain immediacy and urgency to the message.
