Album cover for Felicità Tà Tà by Italian singer, actress, and TV personality Raffaella Carrà.

Puff Wind here is used with three of its four forms for the letter A: flat bar to the left in the title, high bar to the left in “Raffaella”, and high bar to the right in “Carrà”. Judging from the glyph order in a Mecanorma specimen, the F in “Felicità” was originally intended as E.

  1. I love the dot-shaped accents! See also the integrated grave accent for Lucky in this other Italian single sleeve from 1974.

  2. Putting them to the left of the letters would have made it clearer that they are grave accents rather than acute accents, but I do not know Italian, so maybe it is obvious.

  3. There’s no á in Italian. And context goes a very long way.
