“Expansion!” poster for Fedrigoni Plus

Alex Hunting playfully mixed the condensed and extended widths of the Mars family for a poster commissioned by TM and Fedrigoni UK. The London-based designer was asked to contribute a poster interpreting the theme of addition and augmentation. He chose to celebrate the life of Georges Lemaître, who first proposed that the universe is expanding. The poster was printed by Gavin Martin Colournet on Fedrigoni X-per 120gsm in Pantone 877, 281 & 210. In the last line, Hunting used a lowercase i to visually rhyme with the exclamation mark.
