The cookbook accompanying the popular BBC TV series with Rick Stein was designed by Smith and Gilmour, using Wood Bonnet Antique No.7 for display type. The condensed slab serif also served as basis for the lettering on the cover. “The Road to” might be modeled after Thirsty Script. The cover as well as the various interior spreads “with lettering inspired by the lively street graphics of Mexico” are by illustrator Andy Smith. See more images on his website. The recipe pages pair Wood Bonnet Antique No.7 and Planchette for headlines.
