From The inspiration room:

Diesel, the international jeans brand, is launching “Be Stupid”, a campaign that encourages consumers to take risks and move beyond the smart and sensible track for life. The campaign, developed at global advertising agency Anomaly, includes online, press and outdoor advertisements featuring “stupid” acts, a digital recruitment campaign for the Diesel music video/2010 catalogue, and viral activity outlining the company’s Stupid philosophy.

    [auto-translation, added by moderator:]

Wow, I like every one of them: the choice of colors, photos, typography, choice of typeface, design.
Even though I have licensed the 24 styles of Placard Next and Placard Next Round, I have to admit that I like the two older cuts better when it comes to poster design.
The new glyphs are designed with more precision, the contrast, particularly noticeable in the A of the word Brains, is no longer that big, but this comes at the expense of the crispness. I also miss the wonderful comma in the new cuts. And the S is designed to be much more fluid in the previous cuts.
And because it’s not a typeface for immersive reading, my opinion of the supposed shortcomings is: they fit!
They make the whole composition really crisp.

I saw a pic of a “be stupid” Diesel ad. Description: a person dressed up in a Native American headdress with play bow and arrow, wearing Diesel shorts. This is problematic at best, and supports racist stereotypes of Indigenous people. This is dehumanizing. Do better, Diesel.

    I totally agree!
