Illustration by Doug Taylor, accompanying a story by Carl Hiaasen and Al Messerschmidt about the Miami Drug War in Rolling Stone magazine, 20 September, 1979. The two-colored letterforms with the wood-like pattern are from Flash, a typeface designed by Enric Crous-Vidal and first cast by FTF in 1953. For the preceding article, Taylor used lettering similar to the Cartoon typeface.
