Halyard Display is used by the Fulbright University Vietnam as one of two identity fonts. While the seriffed Garamond Premier is the elegant voice used for larger headlines and body text, the sans-serif Halyard is the plain-spoken counterpart that does the heavy lifting in menus, subheads, teaser texts, captions, etc.
The website supports both English and Vietnamese versions, the latter requiring a number of special diacritics. It is gratifying to see Halyard’s Vietnamese put to use. It was given a 4-star rating by Donny Trương, author of Vietnamese Typography, in his a list of recommended fonts with full support for Vietnamese.
The Fulbright logo and the university’s seal are based on Friz Quadrata.
