The Designpreis Brandenburg is awarded every two years to outstanding creative projects from designers, agencies, and companies within and around the Brandenburg area in Germany.
This is the winning entry from a competition held at FH Potsdam in winter 2016 to redesign the award. The goals were to rethink the visual identity of the award and redesign the award itself. The font in use is Suisse Int’l. The new identity and award are used since 2017.
Manufacturing the shield was done by S-Hamacher in Berlin, who had previously produced objects with artists like Olafur Eliasson.
