First edition of Doctor To The Stars by Murray Leinster, published in March 1964 as Pyramid Books F-987, with cover art by John Schoenherr. The title typeface is Koziar Interlock. It was drawn by Myron Koziar (c. 1917–1969) for Photo-Lettering, Inc. and is shown in their Alphabet Thesaurus Vol. 2 from 1965. It hasn’t been digitized yet. In addition to Ed Interlock by House Industries, a rounder style based on another 1960s PLINC face, there are also a few digital interlocking fonts by PintassilgoPrints, see Sundowners or Manihot.

Three novellas [The Grandfathers’ War, Med Ship Man, Tallien Three] featuring Medic Calhoun and the imperturbable Murgatroyd. A physician in the Interstellar Medical service travels the galaxy with no human companionship, and is responsible for the health care, not of people or groups, but of WORLDS! — Hachette
