Orbit in use for the Elephant Ears snack bar at the Fun Fair, also referred to as Roane County Fair, held on 4 July, 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana in celebration of Independence Day. Spotted in Stranger Things 3.
Orbit can be distinguished from Photo-Lettering’s very similar Village (1968) by its vertical-legged R and the tailed T. It appeared in the early 1970s and is a plausible choice for a mid-1980s food stand – and an original one to boot.
