AIGA Columbia College Chicago

The AIGA Columbia identity was designed to be a consistent and constant brand for the AIGA affiliated group within Columbia College Chicago, with the goal of communicating the group’s seriousness to potential guest speakers and students in the college’s community. All the touchpoints were created to be easily replicated and templatized so the design system could be passed down to new leadership when the current group graduated over and over again.

The bright yellow was chosen to stand out on the message boards full of other posters. Neue Helvetica is used in a light weight only to sort of lean into what was expected of a graphic design club branding and to stand out through simplification amongst the various other clubs and organizations advertised to students within school buildings.
