Satan’s Rats – “Year of the Rats” single cover

Second of three singles by Satan’s Rats, released in December 1977 in DJM Records. Formed in January 1977 in Evesham, Worcestershire, UK, the punk band started over in 1979, now named The Photos. All three single covers released as Satan’s Rats exclusively featured type, in large caps and white on black, but with changing typefaces. For “Year of the Rats”, the choice fell on Berthold Block, with EndcapS and heavy rules.
